How to enlarge a google page that is reduced by half?

Hello,

When I turn on my computer and after the wallpaper, I then log on to Google, the page appears but in a reduced format by half, so that when I check my emails, I can only see part of the screen. I can't seem to restore it to the way it was before, in full screen, so that it fills the entire computer screen.
Can you please let me know what operation I need to perform to return it to normal size? Thank you. Florence.

Configuration: Linux / Firefox 25.0

At the top of your Google page, there is a bar that says "Google". You hover over it, and on the left, there is a cross to close it, and next to it, a line and a square. You click on the square, and it should return to a normal page... if that doesn't work, you have the option to drag the edge of the small page with the mouse until you resize it to the right dimension.

I followed your instructions and it worked, thank you very much!
I have another problem; recently I can no longer watch a single video even though I am signed up on YouTube. When I click on the video or even to revisit a show in podcast, it's the same. The video appears with a screen made of gray bars and in the middle it says: "enable adobe flash, vulnerable plugin, needs to be updated" I click on the update which is done but it's still impossible to watch the video! Then in the right corner I click on: "upload" and I see the word: "loading" intermittently appearing in the center of the screen and still unable to access the video. Until recently, I could access various podcasts as well as videos on YouTube without any issues? Has there been a recent change making all videos inaccessible? Thank you in advance for your effectiveness and your help. Happy New Year 2015! Florence. PS: I will come back to see your response tomorrow. It’s good because you explain things in a simple and clear way, thank you again.
