Hello, I've tried every trick, but when I open a web page like Google, the search bar is positioned on the right instead of the center and I can only see half a page. What should I do? Could you help me, thank you in advance?

Configuration: Windows Vista / Firefox 5.0

All web pages are also positioned to the right of the screen, which means that a large part of the page is missing...

Good evening, I have the same problem with Firefox but not with Internet Explorer! It's strange, the page is unstable, sometimes the lag increases.
I'm not the only one with this problem, which reassures me a bit because my laptop is getting old; but I don't think it's to blame this time.
A little help would be appreciated;

Hello,

I’m experiencing the same problem as you on Firefox, but not on Internet Explorer or Google Chrome, and it has nothing to do with my PC, which is quite new and very efficient.

If I'm not mistaken, this issue appeared after a recommended update by Firefox, which supports Titoos' opinion.

I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version of Firefox, but that didn't resolve the issue.

Maybe we should try an older version and see if that resolves the problem? That's something I really don't want to do; I don't like older versions, no going back for me :-)

I was also thinking about uninstalling/reinstalling Firefox, but if you did it without success, I won't do it. Thank you for the tip. Now I'm considering going back to Internet Explorer or Google Chrome as my browser; I'm a bit disappointed because I thought Firefox was more efficient and safer. I'll wait a little, maybe a solution will come up.

Hello,  indeed, fullscreen mode is a good alternative, but the top of the page with the tabs is missing. I hope we will eventually find out where the problem comes from.  Thank you, best regards.

Thank you for the proposed solution, I tested it and it indeed works.

Certainly, it solves the issue of shifting, however I notice another problem still regarding the display which has shrunk, especially in terms of horizontal dimension, and as you suggested the solution in the display tab, I considered removing all display options but without results; I also tried the F11 key but that doesn't work either.

We should ask these questions on the Firefox site forum and the one where you found the solution as well.

I thought the page was displaying normally, but I only use the internet very simply and I had never looked at all these tabs. It’s on this forum that there is another discussion about the same problem. I looked elsewhere but found nothing recent, though it can evolve.
