Hello everyone,
I just created a Word file with one of the fields pre-filled by mail merge.
I then added input fields via a form for the fields that change regularly.
My problem is that I can't restrict modifications in the Developer tab because the tabs are grayed out.
What should I do, please?
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
One possible reason for the "anomaly" preventing the protection of the document is that it has been transformed into a mail merge document, which is incompatible with protection without a macro.
To check this, simply perform the following test on a copy:
- in the Mailings tab, click on the "Start Mail Merge" button,
- if the "Letters" option is checked, select the "Normal Word Document" option.

Thank you very much, I didn't understand why I was unable to restrict modifications to my document... probably a click by mistake along the way.
