Uninstall 32-bit Office.

Solved

Hello,

I would like to install 64-bit Office on my computer. However, when I start the installation, I am interrupted by a window indicating that this step "is not possible because we have detected the following 32-bit programs on your PC = Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010".

However, I have already uninstalled all the Office programs that I had left. No Office 2010 software is present in Programs and Features. Even when I search the computer for "Office 2010", there are no results.

What can I do?..

Hello ;

I think Office was uninstalled incorrectly and there are some (invisible) files that need to be deleted

1-Open the hidden files option in Windows and browse the folders to delete everything related to Microsoft Office

2-Download and install Windows CleanUp utility >> Here >> Launch this tool by its executable and in the window that opens, scroll with the mouse cursor to find all the lines concerning Microsoft Office and delete them using the Remove command (be careful to only delete the lines related to Microsoft Office) >> Example

3-Also open the registry using the command Regedit and explore the keys Hkey_Local_Machine >> Software >> Microsoft and check if any office file is present: If yes, delete it
Do the same with the key Hkey_Current_User
(The registry should be handled with care and only delete the relevant lines)

3-Restart the machine and perform the new installation
