Hello,
The reading of the tracks on a USB key on an Ibiza sound system does not match the order of the list created on the PC. On what principle is this reading based? The numbering or WHAT else?
Thank you for your answers.
Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 33.0

Hello and thank you for helping me.
I found the solution to my problem and it was simple.
You just need to format the USB key and then drag the tracks one by one in the order you want them to be played on the car stereo. -
Have you taken a look at the manual?

The user manual does not mention this issue.
This is the second Ibiza speaker on which I notice the same problem.
The playback order is different from what I put on the USB key.
It's annoying, my wife and I are gym instructors and we would like the music to match the movements without changing it every time.
The numbering or letters make no difference.

If it’s random, maybe?
A solution is to put everything in a single file, that way no more reading order issues.

Hi,
The reading is also done according to your TAGS, have you created/modified them?
A very good tool for this is Tag&Rename (30-day trial version, then paid), incredibly simple and easy to use....

well, don’t look any further, your problem comes from the....
The MP3 tag (or ID3 tag) is a tag embedded in your mp3 file that contains various information about the file such as:
- Artist name
- Track title
- Album title
- Track number
- Release date
- Cover art image
etc.....
these are all the info that are used and/or displayed when playing your mp3 and which can be totally different from the file name
You have quite a few tools available for download on many sites (including CCM) that allow you to create and/or modify these Tags, including the excellent Tag&Rename (paid) and many others
You’ll find plenty of them here: https://www.commentcamarche.net/telecharger/audio-musique/catalogage/
You’ll also find lots of info on ID3 Tags on CCM: https://www.commentcamarche.net/s/TAGS%20ID3 -
