Who can give me the steps to add angled borders to an Excel table?

    Hello.

    Very interesting question.

    Well...

    To create a slanted border in Excel, you first need to change the text alignment.

    To do this, you need to select the text you want to slant, then go to the Format menu and select Cell.
    A cell window will open. Then, choose the Alignment tab.
    In this tab, modify the text orientation by moving the needle or by setting the number of degrees.
    Click on OK.
    Finally, select the cells to slant, and drop down the Borders button menu in the Formatting toolbar. Click on the All Borders button.

    There you go, it's done. Your text and your borders are slanted.

      For the text inclination, that's fine. But I don't understand the second part of your response, I don't have a Border dropdown menu in the toolbar.
      To clarify: I'm using Excel 2003

      Can you provide me with more details?

      I correct my answer, I found the formatting toolbar, it's indeed the one with Font, Font size, text shape, alignment, etc...?
      But I still don't understand how to slant my borders, now I have my text slanted but the borders are still straight.

      Well, after consulting the help in Excel, I managed to tilt my borders; I just had to center the text horizontally, specify the angle of tilt I wanted, and select my borders, all within Format Cells.

      However, and yes, there's always a problem, I also have cells that need to remain horizontal, meaning without tilt, but the borders, they need to be tilted.

      How can I do that?
