Excel auto cell size adjustment

Solved

Hello,
I have a question about Excel regarding the automatic adjustment of cell sizes.
I have a document with a cell that refers to another cell in a different workbook.
So there is a source workbook and a target workbook.

When the source workbook is modified and I open the target workbook, I update the data.

And here is my problem: the cells do not automatically expand, which means I can't see all the data.

Do you understand me?
So I would like to know if it's possible for a cell to automatically expand if there is too much data in it.

Thank you in advance.

Look under Excel:
  • Select the cells to adjust, whether the cells are still empty or when they are filled,
  • Click on format, column, auto fit!

Note from 2019: Home tab - Cell (all the way to the right) and - format - Click on row height auto fit.

Let me know if you found it!!

Hello Meleopoldine.
The menus are no longer the same in Excel 2010.
Could you please tell me where to find the auto-fit column option in these new versions?

Thank you in advance.
