Resetting a Gigaset C620

Good evening,
I can't initialize the 2 handsets with the base.
I get the message "No base" and a regular beep.

Upon receipt, the 1st handset was recognized, and it was while trying to manipulate the 2nd that everything went wrong.
Does anyone have a solution?

      Thank you for the instructions. I have this operating procedure, but I can't access the menu. I'm still at the starting point...

        a button to press at the base
        then on the handset, the menu button is there (press to the right)
