    Hello

    In principle:

Telemetering: consolidation of consumption readings at a given point. This is done through successive transmissions as soon as a certain threshold of kWh (for example) is reached.
In practice, it’s a nearly continuous reading; the different transmissions are summed over a duration Y.

Remote reading: querying/reading a meter 'remotely' via radio once every X months. The transmission could also occur over powerline communication, but in practice, the bandwidth would be insufficient to consecutively query a large number of meters.

The final result is the same as we have consumption data for a given period.

Well, if someone has a better explanation, feel free to give it!

    See you!

    Hello,

Thank you for all this information. I am just starting out in the profession and to clearly distinguish the two, I prefer to ask.

    See you later
