Touchpad no longer appears in Device Manager

Hello,

I bought my Toshiba Satellite C50-A-1N5 laptop a few months ago, and suddenly the touchpad has stopped working; the cursor doesn't even show up anymore. I checked the device manager, and the touchpad no longer appears there. When I plug in a mouse, it works perfectly fine. I already tried FN+F5, but it doesn't change anything; the cursor still doesn't appear. Is there something I can do, or should I return my PC?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 33.0

In your device manager, check if you have a device called I2C with a small yellow panel.

If yes, click on it with a USB mouse and disable and then enable it.

It worked for me.
