?
?
?
Ce sujet n'est que la prolongation de celui-ci dans lequel j'ai déjà répondu à 5 questions.
C'est ridicule !
Dans ces conditions, je laisse tomber.
Bonne journée.

1. System backup, to avoid reinstalling system or relative programs. Most system backup is through backing up the system partition to realize.
Partition backup to save your crucial files and data in partition (including non-system partition or system partition).
2. System (partition) backup is necessary, about others partitions, it's up to you and the importance of your files.
3. EaseUS Todo Backup supports Windows system (Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows XP/10, Server, and SQL) backup. Also support partition/disk backup, email backup, disk clone. Suggest you to read its official guide. https://www.todo-backup.com/
6. Yeah, you could resize your partitions, your previous partition backup files is useless, at least for C: and E: partitions.
7. Use disk management to partition your hard disk.

Hello Chris696,
Thanks a lot for your answers.
Reagrding the question 2, does it mean that I can just click on "system backup" and the software will automatically find the right partitions/files (then I don't have to worry about the partitions whether they have a name or not) ?
Regarding the question 7, do you mean that I only have to worry about the size of each partition regardless they will contain system files or datas?
Regards

Hi, Tentatif
Question 2, yeah, it will find the right partitions/files by itself, no matter system files and boot files in same partition or in different partitions. Here is the detail guide about system backup, it attached pictures and videos. But it couldn't offer the French guide page.

About the question 7? Would you mind to describe your questions in English to my gmail ( monica33.smith@gmail.com )

Hi Chris696,
Thank you for your reply. If you don't mind I find easier to carry on the forum.
By the way, why do you answer in English to French speakers? French are not famous for their knowledge of foreign languages...I was about to forget the Quebec French, sorry!
What I wanted to ask at the question 7 requires may be more details: when we install a system on a hard drive then we have to have 4 partitions, one of them is the "extended partition" (is this the right term in English?) which can be divided in as many logical partitions as we want.
I want to save my system and datas in a single external hard drive which contains no system. I would like to save in each case the version N and N-1. As I could see there are already 4 partitions by default (2 with a name, 2 without name) with Windows 7. Among them there is a boot partition and a system partition with Windows 7 (contrary to Windows XP). So I didn't know how many partitions I would have had to create on my external hard disk, neither in which order I would have had to restore them.
Now I understand that I will only have to create 4 partitions, 2 for the system N and N-1 versions, 2 for the datas N and N-1 versions. The only thing I have to worry about is their sizes. Whether it is a system backup or a datas backup, there is no difference in the type of partition we use in the backup hard drive. It is just a place to store something, our responsibility is only to put the right thing at the right location.
I have never made a hard drive partition, but what I guess according to what I read is that I will only have to name and size them. Please let me know if I am wrong.
Thanks again for the link, and the time you have given me.
Regards

Exploitez à fond ces documents :
- Créer une image (ghost) de partition
- Sauvegarde (informatique)
