Hello,
For the past few days, the close, minimize, and maximize buttons have disappeared (in the top right corner of the page) from Firefox. However, if I click in that area, it works as if they were there. I haven't touched any settings.
How can I make them reappear?
Thank you for your responses.

Hello,
Reset Firefox:
In the address bar, type the following line and hit Enter:
about:support
Click the Reset Firefox button
Click Reset Firefox to confirm your choice
Note: During the reset, bookmarks, browsing history, passwords, cookies, and autofill information from web forms will be preserved. However, extensions and themes will be removed, open windows and tabs as well as tab groups will not be preserved, and preferences will be reset.

Thank you very much! I reset it and the buttons have returned.

Hello. Response from October 2016
after some hassle, I changed the "style" of the page (I chose "spatial") and the minimize/close icons came back. Phew. If this can help someone...
(after trying a few manipulations on about:config .... but too many different versions of software mean we're in the fog, so beware! ("watch out").

But since I had to reinstall my modules, I noticed that the buttons reappeared on the reset page, and that they were disappearing in my theme!
I changed the theme and it's fine.
So to remember: when you change your version of Windows, themes do not always carry over and cause inconveniences.
So make sure to change your theme!
