Display issue, black screen.

Hello,

I am facing a display issue that I can't resolve.
A few minutes after starting the computer (2-3 minutes), the display seems to "stutter" and then the screen shows me the following message:

"The current input signal is not supported by the monitor display.
Please change your input signal to 1600*900@60Hz or any other signal mentioned by the monitor according to the monitor's specifications."

The screen in question is a Dell ST2010 connected via HDMI; I have never had a problem until I changed my setup (the PC is less than 3 weeks old...)

I tested the cable and the screen on another tower (GTX 650 boost graphics card), no problem.
The same cable and another screen (ASUS 27'') on my tower, no problem.

It seems that the issue is between my graphics card and the Dell screen...

I'm honestly out of ideas, and my online research hasn't helped me much.
If anyone has faced the same problem or thinks they have a solution, I'm all ears!

My setup:
-Nvidia GTX 760 graphics card (drivers up to date)
-Gigabyte Z87-UD3H motherboard (latest BIOS)
-Intel i7 4790 CPU
-Windows Pro 8.1 64-bit

Thank you in advance,

K.

    Hello

I know the issue, the resolution in Windows
    is probably too high
    for your screen
    so there’s no display
normally it should start in safe mode
    F8 on startup
