Replacement of the incorrect security id ...

Hello everyone,

on a 160GB slave disk I suddenly lost access to my data. The disk was no longer accessible from Windows (Windows 2000) which suggested I format it. I tried to recover the data without success until I managed to restore the MBR with TestDisk. After that, I had to reboot and during startup I saw hundreds of lines of code indicating this: "replacement of the security ID with the default security ID for file xxxx", where the file number went up to about 21,000. I have lost a lot of data and I can’t recover them anymore. I tried Photorec, Active@undelete, RStudio, but apart from the directory tree and the files I can access from Explorer, nothing more is found by these tools.

I’m calling on the specialists of this forum to help me and see what else I can try to recover my data.

Thanks in advance

elami

Configuration: Windows 2000 Firefox 2.0.0.4

I think you should format the disk first and then use the "recover after format" option (easy recovery pro) to search for data!
This solution allows you to recover the maximum number of files if we haven't tinkered too much with the disk!
Before starting this operation, back up the files already recovered thanks to Rstudio.

NB: I don't really know Rstudio. If it has the "recover after format" option, there's no need to look for easy recovery pro!
