Hello,
Check the status of your keyboard's batteries and ensure that it is turned on.
The system searches for any keyboard, wired or Bluetooth, when the Mac starts up. If it finds nothing, it means the keyboard is inactive, either due to dead batteries, the keyboard being off, or the keyboard being faulty.
If unsuccessful, borrow a wired keyboard or another Bluetooth keyboard...
Best regards

The warning light is flashing...
Is the wired keyboard the only solution then?
keyboard reset:
- remove the batteries from the keyboard, then put the batteries back in and turn the keyboard on again.
Mac reset:
- turn off the Mac by holding down its power button for several seconds
- physically unplug the Mac by removing its power cable from the back
- press and hold the power button for about 30 seconds, still with the power cable removed
- plug the Mac back in, but do not start it immediately:
Now, you need both hands:
- press and hold the 4 keys: cmd alt P R
- restart the Mac without letting go of these 4 keys
- wait for the startup "gong" to sound 3 or 4 times
- release the keys, and let the Mac start normally...
this procedure aims to reset the Mac's management unit, and then reset the Pram settings.
If this procedure is done correctly and it has no effect, you will need to test with a wired keyboard.
