Hello everyone,
Currently holding the PS3 Slim, I recently encountered a problem where my controllers were not recognized by my PS3 (despite resetting the controllers), and I could no longer connect to the internet (nor to my router)
So I was playing locally.
Finally, I wanted to update via Ethernet, and it crashed,
Now every time I restart my PlayStation 3, whether normally or through Recovery mode, I can't escape:
System update, recovery/installation attempt, please wait,
Everything then crashes at 54 or 55%, with a message advising me to turn off the PlayStation and unplug it.
The error is 8002F1F9.
I repeat that the message appears all the time, even if I try Recovery Mode, my PS3 is therefore unusable and is no longer under warranty.
Having read many forums, there is often talk of a problem with the network/wifi/bluetooth card being faulty.
What should I do? Buy this part and change it, take it to a professional? Price estimate?
Best regards

Hello error 8002F1F9 The system software update has failed simply now is it your connection (or the associated hardware) or a hard drive problem, remove the Ethernet cable, take a USB stick, put the update on it see here restart the PS3 let it do its thing if nothing try again like that but by trying to go into recovery, if nothing do you have the possibility to connect the PS3's hard drive to a PC? Is it not an ultra slim that you have?

connect it to your desktop; inside you'll likely find the 4-wire cable that is spliced multiple times to the power supply unit. Then the "sata" cable should be connected to the motherboard (there are free ports labeled sata1 sata2 ...), either one cable available inside (free of any) or buy one (less than 3 euros). Be sure not to unplug any other sata connected to the pc. Restart the pc and see if it's recognized in the work station or computer, otherwise go through disk management. Get back to us when you're ready to do it
