Overlaying two videos on Videopad

Hello,
I recently downloaded Videopad video editor, and I'm looking to overlay two videos.
Having recorded the videos in portrait mode, I would like to place them side by side to remove the black bars on the sides.

    Hello,

    With VideoPad version 3.35, you need to add your two files.
    Then you put the first one on Video Track 1 and the second one on Video Track 2 ;)

    Next, to move your files to the edges: Video Effects --> Position (position)
    And if you need to resize the files, you use the Scale effect (Scale if in English version) to enlarge/shrink your image, or Crop which will cut off part of your image, I believe.

    Finally, when saving your project (Export Video), make sure to choose a resolution for your output file; otherwise, you might end up with "black bars" again...

    Hello, a track needs to "frame" each scene with an effect, for example 'zoom' if your software has that option; the scenes are resized, cropped otherwise they will be distorted. Then use them on the second track.
    Besides photos, I never use the "portrait" mode for animated scenes.
