Hello, I unplugged my PS4 while it was on. Does it really get damaged?

    It can damage data yes, as on the PS3 you would normally get a startup message to repair.

    If that's the case you should try a repair (option 5)

    If you lose power, it has the same effect—it's not mean once but never good either, you shouldn't do it for fun, you know.
