Hello,
Recently, I responded to a vivastreet ad, and the person I contacted is asking me to complete the purchase this way:
1) buy a paysafecard from a store for an amount of X euros
2) send him the PIN code of this card by email, which completes the transaction, allowing him to use the PIN code for purchases.
I did some research on different sites, and I'm quite confused: some say it's definitely a scam, while others say this method is acceptable, because even if the person receiving my card's PIN code is a scammer, he can never take more than the amount on the card (since it’s usually around 10 euros, I think the scam isn’t too “painful”, but still...).
What is your opinion?
Scam or reliable payment?
Thank you for your responses.
