Hello, after assembling a computer, I removed the jumper from my motherboard and unfortunately lost it afterward. When I finished building my computer, I encountered a problem, and I think the cause might be the lack of this part, but I'm not entirely sure, so I'm asking the question, thank you.

PC problem: when starting up, nothing appears on the screen, and the keyboard and mouse turn off and on repeatedly, however, the computer is functioning.

Hello,

Normally, this jumper is only to be moved to reset the BIOS. A tip: using the tip of a small screwdriver (flat), make the contact yourself; place the tip of the screwdriver between the two pins you want to short and gently turn until the connection is made.

Try your machine; I know it's not easy with only one hand, but at least we'll know for sure. However, as nagashima says, I doubt your problems are solely due to that : )

Best regards

In computing, 99% of problems are located between the chair and the keyboard.

Hello

"slightly turn"

It's just a matter of making electrical contact between 2 pins with your metal screwdriver.
