Hello everyone,
my PC specifications are:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3230M CPU 2.60GHz;
RAM: 8GB (7.89GB usable);
Graphics card: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000, total graphic memory 1792MB, dedicated memory 32MB, shared system memory 1760MB;
does not allow me to play video games recommending a minimum dedicated memory of 128MB. Yet I thought that the RAM capacity would solve this kind of limitation. I would like to know if there is a way to get around this to be able to play games like Virtua Tennis 4 and PES 13 on my PC.
Thank you in advance. Best regards, Alhadoum.

Hi, the performance and compatibility of a graphics chip for video gaming has very little to do with video memory. An HD Graphics 4000 is an office chip that is not very comfortable in this exercise but is still sufficient for a light game like FIFA 14, as noted here: https://www.notebookcheck.net/Computer-Games-on-Laptop-Graphic-Cards.13849.0.html?type=&sort=&deskornote=0&or=0&search=&month=&benchmark_values=&gpubenchmarks=0&professional=0&archive=1&dx=0&multiplegpus=0&showClassDescription=0&itemselect_2822=2822&condensed=0&showCount=0&showBars=0&showPercent=0&gameselect%5B%5D=242&gpu_fullname=1&codename=0&architecture=0&pixelshaders=0&vertexshaders=0&corespeed=0&shaderspeed=0&memoryspeed=0&memorybus=0&directx=0&technology=0&daysold=0
Virtua Tennis 4 seems to be a bit more demanding, so it may be more difficult to run it comfortably with your configuration. -
Hello FeLynX,
I would like to know if I can install an NVIDIA graphics card in my PC.
