Hello,
Due to an error that I can't seem to fix, I need to restore the default settings of my Asus T100. I've read online that this is possible by pressing the F9 key when turning on the device. This doesn't work in my case. I was advised not to press F9 immediately, but to wait for the startup (as soon as the white dot appears at the top of the camera screen). I have tried countless times pressing F9 more or less early after startup and holding down the F9 key for more or less time, but it always ends up at the home page displaying the time and date. I can't understand what I'm doing wrong. Thank you in advance for your help.

P.S.: switching to Windows 8, what a nightmare...!!!

You need to press and hold the power button for 20 seconds to ensure that the PC is really turned off. Without this, Windows will shut down, and even if you press F9 at startup, you will never reach the recovery menu.
So, when Windows is running, press and hold the power button for 20 seconds, then press the button again to restart, and as soon as the little LED next to the button lights up, press F9 multiple times. You will then access the menu to reinstall Windows 8.

Hello, I tried but when I want to reset it says 'not enough space or error' knowing that I can no longer delete any folder because I am stuck at F9 due to a bug, what should I do?
