Hello everyone!

So, I recently bought a car radio (Alpine CDE-170R) for my girlfriend to replace the original radio in her 2008 Twingo 2 1.2, as the latter didn't have a USB port.
I tried to install it myself, despite my incompetence in this area, thinking it wouldn't be too difficult... The fact is I'm not a very handy person and I really know nothing about electricity!

I dismantled the old original unit, and I ended up with 2 large ISO connectors, one black and one white, a small yellow ISO, and the antenna cable.
The fact is that the harness from the new unit is made up of 2 black ISO connectors and a small ISO that connects to the unit... The wires aren't all the same color as the harness coming from the dashboard...

I'm attaching a few photos to try to be more explicit...
Sorry for my amateurism, but as I mentioned, I'm not good with DIY.

So here’s what comes out from the dashboard after removing the original unit

And here’s the harness from the new unit, with my finger pointing to the ISO that connects to the unit

As you can see, the configuration looks different, what should I do to connect my unit correctly?

Thank you for your help!

Hello

It's nothing simpler than connecting it

The yellow connector for the original car radio display doesn't need to be connected, as you are installing a new radio, this connector is no longer useful.

The white one is for the speakers

The black one is for the power of the car radio

On the car radio connectors, the connector with the white, green, gray, and purple wires connects to the white connector of the car.

The other connector has a thick black wire (it's the ground) and a red wire (which is the positive)

Just connect the ISO connector where there are the most wires, it corresponds to the speakers and the other for power, however, connect the yellow wire to the red wire which will keep the memory of your radio stations and your sound settings.
