Hello everyone,
Since this morning, every time I start up and at the lock screen, the keyboard goes back to Qwerty,
I tried changing the keyboard settings in the settings but it doesn't change anything..
The command
If anyone knows how to make this permanent or lock the keyboard, I’m all ears. I’m on Ubuntu 14.04 with a MacBook Pro 11.1

The command
setxkbmap frsets my keyboard to "fr variant macintosh" but it’s not permanent. So I put this command in
/etc/rc.localbut it doesn’t change anything.

Hello,
the Ubuntu documentation says to type the following command:
sudo dpkg-reconfigure keyboard-configuration
source: http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/tutoriel/configurer_le_clavier
Otherwise, another lead here:
https://www.skyminds.net/ubuntu-regler-le-probleme-du-clavier-qwerty-au-demarrage/
in this link, the mentioned Ubuntu version is older but I think both proposed solutions should still be valid.

I had already tried: in the end I reinstalled Ubuntu and it's working perfectly now, but as with every problem, another one came up: I can no longer boot into my OSX partition; I must have overwritten the EFI boot of OSX while partitioning. I need to find a way to fix that from Ubuntu, but thank you very much for taking the time to respond.
