Hello,
I am looking to create an Excel formula to calculate the inheritance tax owed based on tax brackets:
The data:
Allowance of €100,000 then
Taxable bracket up to €8,072: 5% (i.e., from €100,001 to €108,072)
From €8,073 to €12,109: 10%
From €12,110 to €15,932: 15%
From €15,933 to €552,324: 20%
From €552,325 to €902,838: 30%
From €902,839 to €1,805,677: 40%
And > €1,805,677: 45%
Since using the IF function alone is not sufficient, there is surely another function to use alongside it, but I do not know which one or how to nest it with the IF function
If someone can help me, thank you.

Hello Marcillo Lobao
First of all, thank you for your help
To verify if the proposed formula meets the need, I created simplified formulas based on information from the site "leparticulier.fr" by typing the keywords "inheritance tax formula".
I added the calculation and results table to your proposal. In fact, I believe that the formula you propose has a condition that is not taken into account: specifically, that a taxable value is taxed step by step rather than just in the highest bracket.
In other words, the calculation result obtained from your proposal leads to what I call "intermediate result" in the table I added.
Best regards,
