I received as a gift a Toshiba Satellite C50D with a Windows 8 section whose password was four zeros, and after my first use, I turned it off and put it away for two weeks while I was traveling. Upon returning from my trip, when I powered on my PC, it automatically requested a password after the Toshiba logo, and since then, I can no longer access the OS or the BIOS. I am therefore looking for a solution to unlock my PC.
It's been months that I've been searching in vain, so if anyone can help me, I would be really grateful.

try removing the BIOS battery for 20 minutes, I think it should normally reset the password.
