I would like to restore the factory settings on my ASUS tablet in order to start from scratch due to installation errors that I cannot get rid of. Does anyone have a solution? Thank you to all the good advisors. Best regards.

To reset the system and erase user data (and remove the password from the home screen):
-Turn off the tablet by holding the "Power" button and selecting "Turn off".
-Turn the tablet back on by holding the "Volume +" button and choose the "Recovery Mode" option (the "Volume +" button is used to choose and the "Volume -" button is used to select).
-As soon as you see the little robot being operated on, briefly press the "Power" button which will display a menu.
-With the "Volume -" button, go to "wipe data/factory reset" and confirm with "Volume +".
The tablet will reset without erasing the external micro SD.
