Non-modifiable file

Hello everyone,

Here is my problem:

I created an InDesign file in CS4, I edited it, saved it, exported..
I wanted to open it again a few days later (to modify it) and there:
Either there is an error message: "The file does not exist, you do not have the necessary access rights or the file is being used by another application" and the file does not open, or it opens but I can’t modify anything at all..

I don’t understand what’s going on and this is the first time this has happened with a file..

Would you have done your entire composition in template pages?

Hello, can you try to go into the file directory and into these properties, see if it isn’t read-only.

I went to check and it isn't read-only..
What I don't understand is that everything appears when I open the file but I can't select any layers...
