Hello,
I am correcting errors on a friend's laptop and I have a big problem with Chrome:
When I open it, it opens 4 successive windows with the message "Unable to open your profile correctly. Some features may not be available and you may lack permission to access its content for reading or writing."
So I searched through the forums:
1 I replaced the defaults directory with backup_defaults
2 I ran CCleaner;
3 I have uninstalled and reinstalled Chrome several times
..and nothing works
Do you have any other ideas?
Thank you for your help
Sabine

Hello,
Go to the Control Panel
Programs and Features
Uninstall Google Chrome
When uninstalling, agree to remove everything, including the files related to profiles.
Restart the PC
Go to --> C\program files or program files (x86)
Delete Google Chrome.
Then launch --> CCleaner as an administrator for cleaning in Windows, applications, and registry. For using CCleaner, check this --> tutorial
Reinstall --> Google Chrome
