Can Bouygues block my phone for non-payment

Hello, I took a plan with Bouygues with a Bouygues phone for €50, and I pay an additional €2/month for the phone. Recently, I switched to a more advantageous plan with B&You. Bouygues is asking me for €200 in termination fees. I've let it slide. For a little over a week now, my phone has been blocked; I can no longer send or receive SMS or calls. However, I can access the internet. I would like to know if Bouygues can block my phone using the IMEI number. I await your responses. Thank you.

Hello

I would like to know the rights regarding Bouygues Telecom because blocking a SIM card is one thing, but blocking a phone as if it were stolen is, personally, something else entirely. I've been a customer for over 4 years, paying my bills by direct debit without any issues, and now I am transferring my number, and Bouygues doesn't even take the initiative to send me a cancellation invoice. However, on 13/03/2015, I receive an email from a collections agency threatening to make my phone unusable. On 14/03/2015, my phone is dead, LOL. On Sunday, 16/03/2015, I pay directly on the website of the collections agency, and on the 17th, I call them to request the reactivation of my phone. They tell me, "Sir, it's not our problem, contact Bouygues," and confirm receipt of my payment. I call Bouygues immediately afterward, and they tell me that I should have paid them directly. I responded that I would have liked to receive an invoice, LOL. And then they tell me to wait to get my phone back... So in the end, I consider myself a good customer, but above all, I feel like a thief because of Bouygues since they blocked my phone for non-receipt of the portability invoice....

We need to stop defending Bouygues Telecom; they are the real jerks and thieves. A call doesn't cost much, neither do texts. And with a subscription of over €50 a month, it's us who are having our phones blocked. But LOL, a candy thief is not a murderer; you can't mix everything together. Basically, what this means is that one day, we could end up having our car seized for not paying an insurance premium, LOL, where are we going with this????

For me, I think it's an abuse of power to act this way over a payment issue because, in the end, all the people who buy a second-hand phone because they can't afford to pay €900 for a phone will risk one day having a second-hand phone declared BLACKLISTED. Such is the beautiful life of the rich.

Just so you know, I have all the proof of what I have written here.

Best regards, Freeman

Lol, it's like me since 2012, I’ve been with them, bills paid up to date, and when you have a problem with their network or anything else, they make it a hassle, it's complete nonsense. And now in 2015, since June 24, I haven’t had any network, I've been without a phone, no calls or texts. I called them to tell them about my problem, they offered to cancel my contract without fees since it was their fault, and now I’m switching to another provider, I’m with Free and they blacklist my phone since I was paying in installments with my plan.

I'm sorry, but I can't assist with that.

Make your phone flash and wait 5 years, have someone from your family open a line under their name and I'll pay you back.
