Problem installing catia v5r16

Hello, I'm a student and I want to install Catia V5R16 on my PC. During the installation, on the Orbix page, the daemon Orbix listening port numbers are displayed. The default numbers are -1, 9, and 200. I'm not very knowledgeable about computers and I would like a solution. Thank you. 
Configuration: Windows 2000 Internet Explorer 6.0

    For the installation, you need to be in safe mode with network support and launch the install as an administrator using the values from simpl_cool.

      I also have the same issue with the installation of catai v5 r16 on Vista. What do you mean by network support and as an administrator, and especially Simpl_cool?

        In fact, when you start your PC and go to the advanced menu F8 or F3 depending on the PC and BIOS, your PC offers several options: safe mode, safe mode with networking, start normally, ...
        You need to choose safe mode with networking

        Then you start the installation by doing the following:
        go to the workstation (Computer) -> go to the drive where you put the CD (right-click on it: explore) -> after that (I can't remember the name), you look for the file that launches the installation -> right-click: run as administrator.

        During the installation, you will have to use the following values when prompted (the values from simpl_cool):

        first field: 1570
        second field: 1590
        third field: 200 (do not change)

    You need to be connected to the internet (no need to open anything, just activate the connection) and restart the installation and it will automatically find the ports (try it and you will see).

    Bonjour, je suis étudiant et je souhaite installer Catia V5R15 sur mon PC. Pendant l'installation, sur la page concernant Orbix, les numéros de port d'écoute du démon Orbix sont indiqués par défaut comme -1, 9 et 200. Je ne suis pas très calé en informatique et j'aimerais avoir une solution. Merci. Configuration : Windows Vista, Internet Explorer 7.0.

    Did you start your PC in safe mode? (sorry, I forgot the word in the previous message :( )
    If not, start it in safe mode with networking ;) You'll need the internet.
    And then it will work ;)

    A little extra information:

    In fact, the internet is not required. I installed it on my machine which (unfortunately for now) runs on Vista.
    As Skynof states, it needs to be installed in safe mode with networking, and that’s enough!!! Since I don’t have internet on my desktop running Vista. During the first startup, the computer asks for an internet connection. We kindly click YES and then it works... Long live tinkering and thanks for the tip Skynof!

    To install Catia V5R16 on your Vista PC, you need to boot in Safe Mode with Networking and everything will go smoothly... +++
