Good evening
I just acquired a TOM TOM 20 GPS, and I installed it without any problem.
I would like to know if the GPS needs to be turned on during the entire charging process when charging the battery on a computer or via mains, or does it charge even if it is turned off? And when I want to charge it on the computer, do I need to keep my computer on?
Thank you for your help.
You have surely understood that technology and I do not get along!!!

Hello,
Charging on the computer = computer on, GPS off or on.
On mains power, the GPS can be off.

Thank you for your response, really nice!!!!!
I have another question, having a 1992 vehicle and yes! without a cigarette lighter, can you tell me approximately the battery life of my GPS while it’s running, as I have a 2h30 journey to make on Tuesday, it will be the first time I'm using it.
Thank you in advance for your help. -
Fully charged...lol it should last 2 hours 30 / 3 hours.
For a good charge, I recommend charging via mains.
