Hello
I just installed a virtual machine (Windows 7) with VMware Fusion on my Mac and everything went smoothly.
The problem is that my wired keyboard is not working properly... the numeric keypad is not functioning and when I type "a" I get "q"... and I can't find the "@"...
I'm told that I'm in "qwerty" but how do I change that???
In the VMware settings, there is: Key mapping, but I don't know how to configure it...
Thank you for your help.

Hello,
It is not VMWare that manages the regional settings of your VM but the OS of your VM.
In your Windows 7, go to the Control Panel, Clock, Language and Region, Change keyboards and other input methods.
Click on Change keyboards.
If you have both English and French, remove English. If you only have English, add French and then remove English. -
Hello and thank you for your response that I just implemented........
The A key works but I can't type numbers from the numeric keypad and when I press "at" it types a small number 2 instead........ -
It might just be the layout of the Apple keyboard keys that isn't "standard."
You can compare your keys to those of a regular keyboard by displaying the on-screen keyboard in Windows. Start / Accessories / Ease of Access / On-Screen Keyboard.
