[Projector] Color divergence issue Solved

Question

Good evening,

My monitor is displaying an image with colors that diverge at the top and bottom of the screen (almost concave appearance). I tried disassembling it, but nothing seems wrong... Could it be broken?

sorry but the issue was a convergence problem (red, green and blue colors misaligned with the convergence lens properly in place (white)) on the rear projector and not on the projector.

for your information, take into account the lamp's operating time (which has a lifespan of around 2000 hours (to be confirmed). because its replacement is costly.

problem solved, I replaced the 2 STK 392 570 for 90 € including parts and shipping. (adjusted the convergence and it's good to go for another round).

Euh, before you start dismantling, do you know that the shape parameters are adjustable? Look for a 'side curve' setting or something like that....

I have the same problem; the image is rounded at the corners at the top of the screen and also in the center and bottom of the screen. However, I can't find any shape settings..
Is there a special trick to access the pro settings..
My projector is an LG PL 43A82T.

Thank you for the information... but mine doesn't crackle and the image is clear in the center... is it really the same problem... another question, what is the approximate lifespan of the lamps on this model? When I use the automatic setting, the lamp indicator barely shows a lifespan of 5%!!!!!!!

Following your advice, I called a guy from DARTY. He actually made a diagnosis over the phone, and a technician came... 2 weeks later... but let's move on. He replaced the 2 STK (68€ for both) + a travel fee and half an hour of labor, for a total of 137.00€, and it's working again...
I think the repair was worth it!

For more information... it's a bit complicated... I've practically said everything in the previous message... however, it's very simple, just call Arty and request a visit from a technician specialized in projectors and explain the issue to them... they diagnose the problem online, I think they have a database for that, and they schedule an appointment for the repair... it's really very simple and very effective as far as I'm concerned...
However, I fell into a lull period with a lack of staff, and I had to wait over 2 weeks for the repairman to come... there you go for the information...

Could you please provide the references for the 2 STK integrated circuits from the DARTY invoice to help move the CHMIBLIK forward??

The closest one is STK392-120 (Convergence Correction Amplifier) which could match!!!

can you confirm the STK reference (marked on the component) of the integrated circuit.

Hello everyone,I'm reaching out to continue your conversation by sharing my problem that occurred today with the projector I’m responsible for at work (Ref: LCD Projector Multisync, Brand: NEC, Type: MT1030+g).The image is somewhat duplicated on the left (letters slightly duplicated on the left, overlapping images creating yellowish bands, etc.).While looking through the documentation, I noticed that upon restarting it, a fixed light was on (status light) and that the documentation recommended replacing the lamp.Can you please confirm that this is indeed due to the lamp (even though it is still displaying the image)?Thank you in advance,Swan

Here is my problem, I have a Korean Samsung retro with NTSC signal input. (SVP 50L2HX)

My DVD player is NTSC, the image is not flickering but the colors are not right.

For example, the sky is red and the faces are almost green.

Can you tell me if it's a SKT problem and where can we get them (I don't even know what they are).

Oh cool, a reply lol...  The first DVD player came out with SVHS signal, so I tried something else.  Now, I'm connecting my DVD player via YUV, but only two are connected; otherwise, there is a strong saturation of the greens and a noticeable change in the other colors.  What's happening? I'm hesitant to buy a PAL to NTSC converter if that's not it, and if I'm thinking it's the bulb and that's not it... I might as well buy a top-of-the-line plasma then lol  But I'm just the way I am, I'd like to fix it as best I can, if only to put it in a game room with a PS. I have a Thomson rear-projection television of 117 cm from 2000 and recently the picture is very sharp but the edges are blurry. For example, when I look at the CanalSat mosaic, the edges curve inward on all four sides. I looked inside, but nothing seemed to have moved. Hello,
I changed the 2 stk on an LG monitor, but nothing has changed; the convergence problem is still there.
- Adjusting the cross, which turns white, cannot be done because even with the adjustments all the way, we can't align it.
- Moreover, the image looks wavy... it might be the same problem, but I'm not sure!
Can we fine-tune the settings with potentiometers on the different boards? I haven't seen any, but I haven't taken it apart!

Hello everyone and help!  I have a Thomson Scenium projector from around 1996-97. One day the image became blurry. After reading your comments, I decided to have someone from Darty come over. Besides the €80 it cost me, the guy didn't make much effort: it’s the bulbs, they are no longer for sale and it’s too expensive, and anyway to adjust them you need specific and high-end equipment that we no longer have in the workshops...  Conclusion, according to him = trash.  It made me so crazy that I took a look at it myself and I might have made things slightly worse since now there's a slight divergence on the sides.  Anyway, I can't bring myself to throw this device away just yet, without having tried everything. Would any of you have any leads, advice or even... solutions?  Thanks in advance!

Hello, my projector has a problem. The image shifts to the left, causing a superimposition of red and blue colors, giving a 3D effect without glasses. I read in the manual that there was a setting to adjust with some +. Could you tell me how to access this setting? Thank you in advance.
