How to choose the x-axis and y-axis in Excel

Hello,

I want to plot a curve:
On the x-axis there are the years (2014 to 2032) and
on the y-axis the amounts of the provision for each year. The problem is that when I insert the graph, I see two curves: one for the year and one for the provision, and I can't modify the two axes!!!

What should I do?!!!

    • 1. Choose the scatter plot type
    • 2. If it still doesn't work, right-click on the chart/Data source/Series

    and modify the ranges assigned to the X Values (the dates) and Y Values (the provisions)
