Hello,
I heard about Clean Master on Android, and I saw it on the Play Store.
The problem is that it promises too much, which makes me doubt the app.
So I'm wondering if Clean Master is really useful.
Thank you in advance.
Configuration: Linux / Firefox 29.0

Hello
Real AND fake.
Real because it does exactly what it claims to do, fake because it makes ordinary things appear beautiful that have nothing beautiful about them.
It has 4 features:
- CLEANUP OF UNWANTED FILES:
you go to settings >> apps >> you can go through the apps one by one and delete the data or the cache. If clearing the cache is not a problem, deleting the data can be quite annoying (if it’s an app where you save things).
- RAM MANAGER
You go to settings >> apps >> running apps, and you close the apps you don’t need that are running in the background. That’s what this app does.
- SECURITY and PRIVACY
Totally useless, like all the antivirus apps on the play store. If you don’t download pirated apps, you’ll never have any problems with your applications.
If you download pirated apps that might, for example, drain your money through invisible premium text messages, the antivirus won’t catch anything because you installed that app, which could be an app with SMS permissions like there are thousands of perfectly legitimate ones, in short, the antivirus will not distinguish between a nice app and an evil app.
- APP MANAGER
You can do it yourself always from the settings >> apps.-
Downloading applications from the store poses more risks than choosing clean applications (by reading previous users' reviews) from p2p sites.
Note: Before browsing such sites, ensure that the support IP address is masked.
P2p is only prohibited depending on how it is used (which I do not advise, as rights holders are protected in most countries. This applies to France, where it can lead to a fine of the 5th class and/or a suspension of the infringer's internet connection). -
Go tell that to my father who, by buying a tablet (low cost to start, if he likes it), installed Clean Master Security, which detected a Trojan (Cloudsota, installation date: the moment the tablet was turned on for the first time), the only one talking about it is the company that developed the antivirus.
So not so useless after all.
