Hello! I need help setting up a text file to import accounting entries into Sage Accounting 100. To be honest, I am just getting started. Thank you in advance.

I have Sage Accounting 100, it works well but suddenly one of my files (a company) won't open anymore and it displays the following message: "This file is already open, please close it or consult the maintenance tools." Please help me, it's urgent.

Hello,

The simplest way is to create a configurable format file.
File; Configurable format
Go to Description, set tab separator (this is the easiest, but it also manages fixed widths)
We go back to the first tab, we add the fields we need.
example:
Journal code
Document date (ddmmyy by default but can be changed with the property button)
Document No. (chrono preferred)
Reference No.
General account
Third-party account
Description
Due date (same as document date)
Debit amount
Credit amount

There are other fields available if needed (payment method and analytical management: Note that analytical lines are in addition to the general line)

The data is saved in a *.ema file that we name at the beginning.

To use it, File; Import, Configurable format.
Look for the EMA file and then its txt file.

Hello, I have the same problem as Chadbour, I tried going through maintenance but nothing works! The message keeps popping up and worse, the date in the maintenance log is not the one when I performed the operation.
I would like to know what's going on? I am in trouble because all my accounting data is there. If someone can help me, I am listening. Thank you in advance.
