Hello everyone
So, I bought a new second-hand computer today that comes with Home Vista. I knew, having had Vista before, that I needed to make some adjustments before I could use it, including disabling automatic updates, and I was eventually planning to buy Windows 7. So, I got home with the dog, the kids, blah blah blah, and an update happened that completely froze everything. After reading up on the topic, I was finally able to boot it in safe mode, but the problem now is that the only thing that’s open is a window
Administrator: cmd.exe
Microsoft Windows (version 6.0.6002)

Right now, I don't want to touch anything to avoid making things worse. If anyone knows what to do from here to get the computer running properly without the updates causing issues, I'd be very happy
Thanks in advance for any response
