Hello,
This is a message of despair...
I have a problem with AutoCAD 2014, and all previous versions, for several months. I installed AutoCAD 2014 last September, it worked well for a few months, and one day it started to bug and I couldn't use it anymore. I then wanted to uninstall it, but I couldn't do it via "program and features" then "uninstall a program", it gave me an error message... so I went ahead and deleted all the folders on my hard drive (program files -> autodesk, etc...). But the problem is that when I want to reinstall AutoCAD 2014 or any previous version, my computer tells me that a version is already installed, even though I deleted everything from my computer...
Could you help me completely uninstall my old AutoCAD 2014 so that I can reinstall any version? Are there hidden files on the hard drive that need to be deleted?
Knowing that I have already done these manipulations without success:
- Tried to uninstall it with special software (Unlocker, Revo Uninstaller and Uninstall Tool).
- Deleted all registry data in REGEDIT.
- Followed all the steps on this page: https://www.autodesk.fr
- And scoured all imaginable forums... and honestly I'm at my wit's end!
For your information, I am on Windows 8, could this be due to a compatibility issue between Windows 8 and AutoCAD?
Thank you very much for reading, and I hope you can help me solve this problem.
Have a good day,
Anthony

If possible...
for Windows 8: Uninstall everything that can be uninstalled through the programs uninstallation tool...
In the menu bar at the bottom right, activate the hidden icons window. The Autodesk Application Manager logo should be there, a yellow and blue A, which means the program is active. Disconnect it then go back to the programs uninstallation tool to remove Autodesk Application MANAGER.
Then go to C:/users:admin/appdata/roaming and delete everything that has the name Autodesk...
Don't forget to check C:/program Files if it's a 64-bit version, or C:/program Files (x86) if it's a 32-bit version...
It works, I just did it, but I had to threaten Autodesk with a lawsuit for them to give me the tip... -
It is not enough to delete folders for them to completely disappear from the computer.
Best solution:
Install Revo Uninstaller
It is a software that allows you to completely uninstall a program so that there are no files left on your computer.
Once the software is installed, open it, click on the program to uninstall, and click on uninstall. Then there are several options, choose the last one, which allows you to completely uninstall the program (it takes longer). Follow what the software says and that's it. It's simple, effective, and quick.

Thank you for addressing my issue, but I would like to try to find a less drastic solution before I have to format my computer, especially since I've only had it since September, so I would like to wait a bit before its first formatting...
If you have other solutions, please feel free to share!
Thank you! -
To uninstall Autodesk, you need to uninstall it and delete the files from the hard drive. Then, use a software like Free Window Registry Repair to scan and remove the remnants. After that, open regedit, search for survivors with a keyword, and that's it, you're done.

Hello,
If you've followed all the recommended steps from Autodesk and it hasn't worked, there's not much more to say.
The only way to erase all traces of AutoCAD from your machine is to reinstall the system (Windows). It may seem a bit extreme as a solution, but that one works.
And it's good to start with a clean system. If your disk is well partitioned, you will just need to reinstall your favorite applications without losing any personal data.
See you later.
