How to get rid of googleadservices.com

Question

Hello,

For a few days now, the URL googleadservices.com has been replacing google.fr in my Mozilla browser every time I start a search on Google. As a result: blank page, nothing displays.

I have obtained an analysis report from the site ZHPDiag, accessible at the address:

I have been told that this is an Eorezo adware and advised to disinfect using AdwCleaner and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. After disinfecting with AdwCleaner, the problem persists. Malwarebytes, which ran afterward, detected nothing unusual.

I am at this point and I don't know what to do anymore. Can someone help me?

I am using Windows 8.1 on an HP laptop purchased in December 2013, so it’s not too overloaded yet. I uninstalled McAfee and am now using Kaspersky.

When your GOOGLE search engine gets stuck on commercial links and automatically redirects to "http://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/aclk?sa=L&ai=..", the internet provider FREE, since the last update of their box, blocks advertising by default.
To remove this option, go to "http://mafreebox.fr/" -> ad blocking -> uncheck.

And all your pages obtained through the Google search engine will open without any problems, and you will no longer see www.googleadservices.com.

it's a Google service, you can't do anything, it's Google that created this error. I have the same issue, no matter how much I try to do like you, it doesn't work.

Google has no interest in this address modification since the engine does not redirect anywhere and does not favor any site. One can also bypass the difficulty by directly entering the address of the site they want to reach in the address bar. This is definitely a virus whose damages I unfortunately do not know.

Hello Lildurhone,Resetting the browsers is useless. I only use Firefox, I've reset Firefox, my homepage is systematically redirected to googleadservices.com if I search via Google.My problem has worsened as I now no longer have access to user account control. It is disabled and I can't enable it. This prohibits me from many actions and prevents me from opening certain links in messages. I can no longer open PDF attachments in my Thunderbird email. I have shared folders that shouldn't be shared... In short, someone has accessed my computer and has granted themselves administrator privileges that limit mine.I have run AdwCleaner, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, and another antivirus that was recommended to me by a helper on the Zébulon forum, where I saw you were active. I have the same issue so I went to my Freebox to cancel the ad blocking, I also ran CCleaner and it still doesn't work, the same message keeps coming back what to do???

Remove the googleadservices links in the Windows hosts file

Run an analysis with Adw Cleaner (if you have already installed it).
If it’s not there, install it using this link: https://www.commentcamarche.net/telecharger/securite/2759-adwcleaner/ Delete anything it detects as bad. If it finds nothing, run a threat scan with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (if you have already installed it). If it’s not there, install it using this link: https://www.commentcamarche.net/telecharger/securite/14361-malwarebytes-anti-malware/ Delete what it finds as bad. If it finds nothing, run a full scan with Windows Defender (if you have already installed it). If you haven’t installed it, use this link: https://www.commentcamarche.net/telecharger/securite/23931-windows-defender/ Delete anything it detects as bad. If it detects nothing, I can’t help you anymore, sorry!
