Hello,

I want to play a DVD video with my iPad or iPhone to also send it to AirPlay.

Currently, I am using the DVD drive of a PC that is shared over the network to read (on the iPad/iPhone) all sorts of things, such as photo CDs, data DVDs. The system works very well.

My problem with a DVD movie is the DVD format and its chapters. The movie interrupts at the end of the chapter, not to mention the language sound issues and unwanted subtitles for some.

There is a solution, but it requires converting the DVD to play, and that is not the desired solution.

I tested AVStreamerHD, but it bugs despite the paid version and VLC streaming is complex.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi, I've never tried this option, I use Cinexplayer, I will test it and let you know.

I ran the test but didn't get very far. I shared the DVD drive of my desktop, in which I put a commercially bought DVD, and I also shared the DVD/Blu-ray drive of my laptop. Cinexplayer on my iPad sees both of my computers but doesn't see the drives, so it's impossible to play a DVD.
