Digitizing Super 8 movies

Hello everyone, I can't seem to find the best way to digitize my Super 8 films. I've tried filming my screen with a DV camcorder and cutting the sound, but the result isn't great; there's always that flickering on the film. How can I do it? Does anyone have a good answer (without purchasing equipment)? Thank you. Best regards

Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 32.0.1700.107

Good evening, well yes, there is a solution, it’s the digital transfer kits that connect via USB to the computer.

    We switch to Pal DV

I know this because I bought one from Easy Transfer, which is a great website.
I have actually digitized films for several friends.

    The results are stunning.

If interested, I’ll leave my phone number, I will be happy to help.

I think it's a transfer kit for digitizing video cassettes.
For Super8, there is a projector box, and there is no USB connection; you simply record on a camcorder, but it flickers terribly, like a Méliès film.

If this equipment really digitizes Super8, I am more than interested; I have kilometers of film to digitize.

No, it's good for Super 8 films, reels that passed through a projector.

Before the commercialization of video recorders.

I am in Montluel, in the Ain department.

I guarantee that there is no flickering with my equipment and can show an example via an online sharing through OneDrive

If you want, you can give me your email by phone, and I will show you.

Good evening and see you soon.

        Marc.

I also know about the rear projection box, I had that in the past.

      Horrible results!!!

      It's not my equipment.

My equipment is a mini DV camera (A tube) that slides into the projector, in place of the lens, and is connected via USB to the computer.

In the projector, I also removed the original lamp and replaced it with a special low voltage lamp with a dimmer switch. (Included with the kit too)

Since the camera is DV, the flickering doesn’t show up during capture; they are kind of "absorbed".

      That's it.
