Phoenix BIOS Password

Solved

Hello everyone!

In trying to access the BIOS of my Fujitsu laptop, I was blocked by a password request at the entrance (manufacturer password?).
After 3 failed attempts, I received the message SYSTEM DISABLED with an error code of the type 6x4 decimal digits. After some research online, I couldn't find a password corresponding to the error code. I'm coming to this forum in hopes of finding help.

I would also like to point out that the method of removing the BIOS battery, as well as the battery and power supply, does not work on my PC!

Thank you all!

Configuration: Linux / Chrome 20.0.1132.57

Ok... Yes, some people use CCM to find passwords for stolen computers, but that's not the case for everyone... This computer is indeed mine and I'm writing from my Ubuntu session. I just want to find the BIOS password (added by Fujitsu to block all access to the BIOS) so that I can boot from my USB stick to properly reinstall Ubuntu after making a wrong command...
But well... Here, as soon as you have a problem with the BIOS, you are considered a hacker...
Good evening.

Hello!
First of all, thank you for your help,
Yes, I do have access to the boot menu, unfortunately it only shows my hard drive in the selection. The USB drive is not selectable.
I assume that BIOS settings need to be adjusted to make it accessible.

Often, you need to go to the keyboard on the hard drive, it develops the menu and you have access to the key.

Yes, I tried on my other computer, no problem, it recognizes the USB key, I select it and boot from it. But on this computer, nothing at all.

A password doesn't appear spontaneously, so you created it.
Work on your memory.....

Hello
The only method we can give you is this one....
https://www.commentcamarche.net/informatique/composants/1659-reinitialiser-le-bios-d-un-pc/
I also want to point out that the method of removing the BIOS battery, as well as the main battery and power supply, does not work on my PC!
Maybe you didn't follow the procedure correctly...

Hello baladur13,

I have read the documentation you provided, but I cannot find a jumper on my motherboard, and holding down the power button does not make any difference..

Sorry...
Check that no solution is listed in your phone's manual... and as a last resort, contact the hotline/helpdesk
https://support.ts.fujitsu.com/IndexContact.asp?OpenTab=servicedesk
Here's what I found in a Fujitsu notice:
If you also do not remember the administrator password, please contact our Hotline/Help Desk. You will need to identify yourself as the owner of the Notebook. The Help Desk will connect you with our service partner who will unlock your Notebook (paid service).

Hello,

Thank you for the solutions provided Baladur13, I will check my manual or call the service then.
In the meantime, my problem is slightly resolved as instead of reinstalling Linux, I managed to fix the bugs and now my PC is working normally!

Thank you very much for your help.
