Hello,
I'm trying to post an ad this morning on Leboncoin and it's no longer possible! I've tried changing my password 15 times: nothing!
I feel like it's become paid for individuals because I didn't check any price box and the only error I see is this one (I did check that I accept the terms and create an account).

Hello, I've just had the same difficulties. I am unable to post an ad. I was simply told that I need to move to the top of the list for a fee ranging from €25 to €90 for a month. This is becoming luxury pricing, while the founder has boasted since 2006 about launching a free service that he celebrated royally on the Champs Elysées (according to an interview). He claims to have grown to 20 and then 200 employees. You will find in various press articles that the current direction is to maximize profits given the investment from a Scandinavian group. To get back to the basics, it would require other people to enter the Internet space to create services that nurture a human spirit in this field, even if it means charging only reasonable fees (50 cents to €1 per offer). This monopoly situation should be prevented while many people are facing chronic financial difficulties. For the record, this type of sale had previously been done at flea markets in a non-profit manner, which the state accepted.

Is LEBONCOIN now at the government's beck and call? In October 2014, two deputies wanted to make individuals pay VAT on the sale of their houses on LEBONCOIN; tomorrow, professionals will have to pay exorbitant prices for their listings, €3 excluding tax for the house category, €5 excluding tax for the professional category.
Leboncoin has forgotten the time when we were all on EBAY, which, a victim of its success, wanted to multiply its rates. We all moved to LEBONCOIN, which had just created its free listing site.
LEBONCOIN is making the same mistake... do the math! I do not recover VAT, so the ad will cost me €3.6 including tax. I have around 200 ads running. I will need a budget of €720 to bring my ads back up, which will be buried in a few days and that I will have to bring back up. In short, I would need to plan a budget of €3,000 to €4,000 per month, which is unthinkable.
I have put all my ads on MONDEBARRAS.FR which is (for now) free!
To be continued!!

Lol, generally those who criticize merchants who operate legally, pay taxes, VAT, hire personnel, etc. are often criticized by those who work in the black market.
“a pro who wants to profit off other people”? We’ve read it all on this forum. I'm not here to play the merchant. Making a profit is the goal of any professional activity.
I scoff at this kind of statement that can only come from poorly educated people... or employees of LEBONCOIN.

I also have about 700 listings on Le Bon Coin as a professional
but it’s just a small addition, only about ten sold per month and even at a low price
so saying that we make a lot of money is false
the ones who earn the most are indeed the fake individuals
so paying 3.6 euros x 700 = 2520 euros for 200 euros a month in profit
it's more profitable, except for the site !!!!

LEBONCOIN has just created a nice scam, easily attackable in court. Leboncoin creates a free site and now forces us to pay, ... at the beginning it's "come to my place, I'll host you for free" and once you've brought your furniture LEBONCOIN tells you "now that you're settled, it's 3000 euros a month."
Well, I've known this for years and I've never had a problem! Since last night, it's been impossible for me! It always takes me back to the password validation page, as if I forgot to check one of the price option boxes.
Hello,
As everyone can know, this is a FREE selling site!
There may be a "bug" on the site like anywhere else.
So try again a little later.
To post an ad, it's like the link provided above by Aranud87 https://forums.commentcamarche.net/forum/affich-29757656-leboncoin-devenu-payant#1

I'm encountering the same problem...
I am a professional! I had a shop on leboncoin... still 1000 euros a year and overnight 3 € excluding tax per ad, estimated cost for the year 18000 euros
So I’m on mondébarras.fr
Leboncoin is shooting itself in the foot!!!
Without any consideration for its loyal customers....

In 14 days, LEBONCOIN has lost 170,000 professional listings, but it must be taken into account that listings posted before November 27 are valid for two months.
I have looked at the professional section since that date, and it appears that only automotive professionals continue to pay, followed by real estate, and finally a few "services" listings. In the "home" category, there are only individuals and those who operate illegally left.
My website no longer redirects to LEBONCOIN but to MONDEBARRAS.FR. LEBONCOIN is only exacerbating unemployment by implementing this exorbitant pricing policy in the "home" section. I have a colleague who owns a shop specialized in small antique items; he has over 1000 references. He started his company because LEBONCOIN was free... he is worried about his future.
It is essential that everyone reacts to switch to another site that is truly free.
Personally, I discuss this with all my clients and clearly display LEBONCOIN's policy on my website.

Little information: Mondebarras.fr will no longer be truly free for professionals starting January 2015. The cost would be €20/month for 500 ads, which is €0.04/ad.
The cost is not high... But is the result as effective as Le Bon Coin? I would say that Le Bon Coin is more impactful in terms of economic returns.
Conclusion: it's better to put pressure on Le Bon Coin to abandon their disrespectful commercial policy!!!

Hello,
Le Bon Coin is playing on the division of professionals and this is what is currently happening:
The professionals who have committed to a 12-month contract with the Pro shop and are already paying a fee. These are the ones who are ultimately the most affected! This is my case....
The professionals who have a Pro account but can post free ads without a fee, they only pay to boost their ad, to make it featured. Many are affected, but they have the freedom to go elsewhere without having to continue paying unlike the Pro Shop.
There are also 1901 associations, but under the guise of their status, they act independently and try to convince Le Bon Coin to continue the free service.
Others suggest going to a competing site: mondebarras.fr. I tested it myself since December 6th. Pleasant site, but not very effective in terms of sales (for now?). I am still waiting for my first client, despite 234 ads posted.
Le Bon Coin has won the first round! The second one will take place on January 28, 2015, when many Pro accounts will practically have no ads. That’s when we need to mobilize.
I invite you to distribute a press release:
http://megacomik.fr/leboncoin-abuscommercial.htm
Use your accounts on twitter, facebook etc... to spread the information as much as possible.
I am starting to centralize contacts from professionals....
I hope we will be numerous enough by January 28, 2015, to sign a joint press release and carry out some field action.

Hello, I join your complaints; I too fear for the future of my small business with Leboncoin becoming paid at a more than prohibitive rate... The price to post an ad is almost identical to a large part of my merchandise or not far from it, once you remove the transaction fee... I would be at a loss... What to do, go on Mondebarras... or any other lesser-known site hoping that it recovers the notoriety lost by LBC and gives it strong and rapid competition while remaining free...
Please share these posts and the message from Pirateonline by any possible means, to your loved ones, friends, colleagues, and why not your clients, I myself am going to do a mailing to my about 4000 contacts that I have obtained solely through Leboncoin... let's not let ourselves be milked without reacting.
I am lucky to have hesitated to subscribe to the professional shop; I therefore have no monthly withdrawal until the contract expires, unlike some, but having a professional account, I cannot post my hundreds of ads at 3.6 each... and thus my visibility will be lower compared to certain private sellers who have up to 700 active ads, that's a private seller.... :-)) long live the black market, a bit of irony won't hurt...
Moreover, like many at this end of the year, I have a couple of personal items I wanted to put on Leboncoin, but it is impossible to do so even when logging out; my ads are systematically not validated with the fabulous and unique message “Professionals
Your ad has been placed in the ‘Individuals’ section. However, it seems to us that it should appear in the ‘Professionals’ section.... I've tried various unsuccessful attempts one after another... I even tried to create an ad with a new email address created just for the test, identical response! It seems they identify by IP... but I tried again by rebooting my box (dynamic IP), they must refuse most ads, but based on what criteria...? (by dart throws as I read not long ago...?) so basically, the fact of having opted for a professional account gives us the impossibility of publishing any ad that is not related to our activity but belongs to the private domain....... all this adds up to a deep feeling of inequality and discrimination against professionals; they forget that partly thanks to them, the site has become very popular and well stocked, what will happen when in January no professionals will publish ads or very few except for automotive and real estate ads...? I am eager to see where this will lead...
Sandrine.

What surprises me are the professionals who signed a contract with LEBONCOIN for a PRO shop before November 27. There is a clear breach of contract since LEBONCOIN cannot fulfill its contractual commitment.
The affected individuals should use their legal assistance to report this abuse!
For your information - 275480 pro ads on December 19 at 11:25 PM
The "home" category is losing 10,000 pro ads every day!

Good evening,
My priority right now is to avoid the closure of my business. Knowing that I had made purchases of goods in anticipation of the holidays. Le Bon Coin has messed up my entire business strategy in the span of 15 days. Not to mention the lost revenue...
Of course, I have read the contract. It does not specify that I can post free, unlimited ads.
This is where Le Bon Coin has cheated us and does not respect loyal customers who have held a Pro shop for three years. In my contract, I believe there is a loophole.
Starting a legal process, one must have the means.
In my opinion, we need to mobilize and counterattack on January 28, 2015, the date when many professionals will hardly have any ads left on their accounts.

It is not necessary to have a special mention to terminate a contract. When you signed a contract for a store, the ads were free. The fact that they have become paid undermines that contract because it imposes an additional expense related to the contract.
For my part, I have migrated to MONDEBARRAS and I am advertising accordingly.
To initiate a procedure, check with your insurer; you probably have legal assistance.

Regarding mondebarras, I myself opened an account with 236 listings since December 6th. I even promoted 3 ads by paying €12 to test the effectiveness of this site.
Result: No feedback, no one came to my shop in Paris from mondebarras. In discussions with my clients, I can quickly find out how they discovered my location.
As I have already mentioned here, mondebarras will be paid in January 2015.
If you do a survey in the street, everyone knows Le Bon Coin. mondebarras, no one! This site is pleasant in its design, but it gives no results.
As a business owner with expenses, I cannot afford to wait 6 months for this competing site to work.
Le Bon Coin is the essential tool for local businesses like mine. I believe an action should be taken against LBC to reverse their senseless decision.
In any case, my Pro Shop contract ends on June 30, 2015. I have very few options. My priority is to ensure that I do not have to permanently close my business in the coming weeks.

Good evening,
I have been broadcasting a second press release for a few minutes:
http://www.megacomik.fr/leboncoin-abuscommercial.htm
It has been sent to several media outlets.
I have also compiled a small list of professionals with their contact information. They will be provided to journalists who request it.
All this to say that during this holiday season, it is not necessarily easy to rally people in a short time. So we are making do with what we have.
For your information, as of midnight on December 22, 2014, Le Bon Coin has already lost 320,293 professional listings.

Paid professional ads, free private ads... Most professional advertisers don’t post more than 100/200 ads, while some individuals post more than 1000 ads... and for free. I won’t report anyone, but it’s a bit nerve-wracking...
Leboncoin charges professionals because the government says it lost around 320 million euros per year from transactions on Leboncoin... Why target the pros when they pay taxes on generated sales? And why not focus on certain (many... very many...) charming individual sellers who constantly sell hundreds of items... which for most is maybe just a big clean-up in their garage/attic... but how many among them actually act as undeclared buyers/resellers...? As a certain "fanche56" said on another site, Leboncoin stinks of undeclared work...
And on another note, I strolled through an animal protection site run by associations, which are also affected by the fee implemented; these associations with their nice little caring discourse collected over 5000 signatures in a month... that’s great for them, but what troubles me is that people are more affected by poor little animals in a kennel than by human beings losing all or part of their personal or family income due to an unjustified decision...
Many are turning to mondebaras.fr, but I read somewhere that in 2015 it too would become paid... info or rumor... to be verified... In the meantime, this site hasn’t generated any contacts for me...
My business only has a few ads online on Leboncoin, and every day I receive their annoying messages "renew your ad..." It’s too much, my sales are declining day by day, soon I’ll close shop and have no right to unemployment benefits... long live France... a nice end of year ahead...

Hello,
What I was saying a few days ago regarding Mondebarras.fr: it will be paid for professionals starting in January, this is not a hoax!
I was contacted myself by one of their salespeople a week ago. Perhaps they will change their mind by then.
Go elsewhere, why not! But you know very well that LBC is the most effective site for selling.
While some professionals can wait and look elsewhere, others cannot due to economic survival. This is the case for my business in Paris.
Regarding animal associations, I contacted them before distributing my first press release. But they decided to go solo.
Unity is indeed strength against LBC.
Every day, I receive new contacts from professionals reaching out. I already have a small list to be able to federate.
The good news is that 344,634 professional ads have been lost since November 27th. During the holiday season, this shouldn't be the case.
Patience....

I just made an interesting discovery. I have been approached several times by LBC to create a shop. Each time, TROC.COM was referenced as their "good client." Just check the ads posted by TROC.COM to see that their shop is emptying out, and in Calais, only 4 ads have been posted since November 27th. http://www.leboncoin.fr/boutique/6555/troc_com.htm?ca=17_s&w=3
LBC has killed consignment shops in France, and now they have decided to finish them off.
Let’s fight to preserve jobs in France!
12/23/14 at 1:47 PM: 346,169 fewer professional ads
If all the pros get together and leave LBC for another site, individuals will follow. Let’s be the driving force for the future of small businesses in France.

No, I am completely serious. Just take the main categories, namely real estate and cars. If these two categories move to another site, individuals will have to consult that site to find a house or the car of their dreams. I was talking about it with my notary, who is also a real estate agent (That's how it is in the north), he pays about €700 per month to LBC to list his houses for sale and he's fed up with paying so much!
Santa Claus is coming, it's time to change habits!!!
It is true that it's warm for the end of December, but the LBC affair is snowballing.
TROCCOM was one of LBC's best clients... but that was before!!
Since 27/11 to this day, December 23, 2014, at 10:50 PM, there are 352,731 fewer professional listings on LBC.

I believe that individuals don't care about professionals..., you shouldn't count too much on them...; what they want is to sell their stuff and for many, buy cheap nearby... and as a snowball effect, those who sell a lot on leboncoin as "individuals" will see their sales increase... much to the chagrin of professionals...

False, LBC is caught in its own trap. As soon as you post too many ads, LBC blocks you and asks you to switch to PRO
LBC is a niche for under-the-table work and since this site must lead by example, the moderators are more vigilant.

you are completely wrong in thinking that leboncoin treats all sellers equally..., contrary to what you think, leboncoin has the most whimsical policy, I will give a few examples of usernames of sellers from this site, it's not for the purpose of denunciation but to prove my point: type these words into the search engine and you will see:
A*** 851 ads
doudou** 757 ads
jcla** 1042 ads !!!
and I could go on........, I have nothing against anyone but if leboncoin indeed required sellers to declare themselves as professionals after a certain number of listings, we wouldn't find so many examples like these... and I didn't search for them, I saw their numerous ads in certain categories while browsing... and to think that I was forced to open a professional account after 175 ads.... something doesn't add up....

Wrong? ... yes and no! Their new moderation system has only been in place since the end of November.. That's why the number of professional ads is dropping as quickly as private ads.
Now you have the option to report ... I meant to say signal, this person to LBC. If your request is well-formulated, the ad is removed. The big problem with LBC is that they don't bother to check the entire account of the person, so we are forced to "report" all the ads. Recently, I had "removed" 350 brand clothing ads in my area. It took time, but it works.
Then there's the more radical way, you print all the sales from the questionable username. You send a question to get their email address or just their address and you hand all this over to the Gendarmerie or police station in your area, or better, you send it by mail to the prosecutor in your area. You have a good chance of seeing the account disappear quickly.
I don't consider this to be denunciation, but a civic act for the survival of declared merchants.

To push the limits, a little gem... pseudo ericp**** 2185 ads and all second-hand shoes... if leboncoin were at all "professional" in moderating these advertisers, it would be impossible for an individual to sell more than 2000 pairs of shoes... I won't be made to believe that he's emptying his attic :-))
It's a bit early to dive back into this discussion, especially today, but since I was alerted by email about the post..., here I am.....
I see I'm not the only one who finds it suspicious to see individuals posting more ads than professionals... the question arises there...
To make it simpler, if your curiosity is piqued, type the only word "type" in the search engine while selecting individuals.... then you'll see the ridiculousness of the professional versus amateur or the amateur who acts like a pro instead.... I've spotted one myself but won't give his username, just his location... an individual posting 4145 ads in almost all categories in Villefranche-de-Lauragais..... that's pushing it to the ridiculous....
How can Leboncoin validate so many ads for the same person, all (I haven't opened them all, but several at random) have the same text, the same phone number....
I'm afraid master57 is under an illusion.... Leboncoin is not falling into its own trap...
Have a good day everyone and happy New Year’s Eve!

You should take the time to check out the ads from this person in Villefranche de Lauragais who, I'm sure, is in the process of emptying a house as they claim. A huge amount of books, magazines, worn-out knick-knacks, a toilet brush and toilet seat, a few overpriced furniture items sold without knowledge of the articles (a desk with a marble top for a 1940s bathroom furniture), used brackets, used children's shoes, a collection of vinyl records, etc.
This username is indeed fitting for LBC.

It's highly likely, it's even stated in an ad "empties his house".... but you will agree that this tension generates suspicions... and all these various items resemble quite well what I regularly encounter at garage sales on the stands of "individuals" with whom I bond from seeing them so often, who do all the garage sales in Grenoble and surrounding areas throughout the year (when officially each has the right to do 2 per year...) and who constantly buy from other exhibitors to replenish their stock.... which in a case like this is no longer a garage sale at all but pure and simple commerce.... buying to resell...
and even so, how does Leboncoin allow this... while preventing others from doing the same, for example, a friend wanting to sell his collection of comic book albums had his ads refused after a while because all his ads offered the same product: books..., nothing to do, no possible dialogue, they wanted to classify him as a professional... so he would have to declare to the tax authorities even though he was selling HIS collection.... isn't this an obscure way of doing things for one and not for the other...???

LBC seems to imply that it is doing its "police work," but it lacks the means and does not take the necessary measures. I have seen "professional" accounts with fake business registration numbers or deregistered numbers. This means that LBC does not verify the information and is just content to collect money.
Good evening,
The Pirateonline is providing an update on the eve of Christmas.
+ 364,000 fewer professional listings on Le Bon Coin.
My press release is starting to resonate. But in this kind of conflict, we need more people to be credible.
I'm not revealing everything here.... But the case is progressing. So if you know other professionals affected by LBC, have them contact me privately.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas!
