What is the purpose of the "RECYCLE BIN" folder? Solved

Good evening, I would like some information regarding the folder "RECYCLE BIN" that is located on my second hard drive (Windows is not located there) what is its purpose? is it important? can I delete it? because I need storage space and it still takes up 8 GB thank you!

This is the location of the recycle bin.

Ah, so it's the recycle bin,
I emptied it
and I gained 10 GB!

40 Deleted! The worst part was that the content was not visible in the Trash.
