Hello,

My mail client (Windows Mail Version 6.0.6000.16386) is not receiving any messages anymore. When I click on Send/Receive, a window pops up: "Check that the username and password are correct for your mail server." If I enter my email address and password, the same window appears again. I've tried restarting my computer, but the problem persists. What should I do?

Configuration: Windows Vista / Firefox 26.0

I solved the problem: I had tried to log in to my ISP's customer area. Since I couldn't do it (I was trying with the phone number instead of the email address, maybe, but I thought I had tried everything), I reported the forgotten password. So they reset the password.

Therefore, when I tried the new password they sent me by email, it worked again.
