Display on 2 screens, duplicate only the icons + taskbar

Hello,
I use two screens, which is quite convenient, especially at work. I have currently set it up with the "extend these displays" option in the control panel. So I have two screens that react as one.
My question is as follows: is it possible to have the taskbar and icons on both screens without duplicating the other elements (windows)? I'd actually like to have just the same desktop but be able to open different windows on each screen (the "duplicate" setting wouldn't work in this case).
Is this possible?
