TV that turns off by itself

Hello,

I have a Samsung television model LE 40 B620R3WXXC;
Since yesterday, my TV turns off by itself without any intervention from me!!!!!!!!!! For example, tonight it just turned off after being on for 5 minutes!!!!!!!!!!! I should specify that the red light is off.
When I manage to turn my TV back on after about 20 minutes, it runs for several hours without any problems before I turn it off myself.
I don’t understand anything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What’s the issue? Does anyone else have this kind of problem?

Have you checked if you have put your TV on "sleep mode"?

Hi

in my opinion, this is not a good sign and customer service is needed.

the standby mode is not random, and there should be a message on the screen indicating that it is going into standby.
I'm leaning towards an electronic issue.

I completely understand your despair, but as I always say, it always works well before it breaks down.

I would tell you to update the firmware, but that's not a good idea, because if there's a power cut during the flash, that could be much worse.

Yes, for sure, that would be the icing on the cake!!!!!!!
Right now it’s working, strange, earlier it shut down after barely 5 minutes and now it’s been holding for over 10 minutes!!!!
And it’s been doing this to me since yesterday.
I’m willing to try the update, but when I go to the Samsung website and enter my model, I find several updates; should I choose the last one?

Hello,

This morning, my TV wouldn't turn on, so I unplugged it for 5 minutes and then plugged it back in, and I was able to turn it on, but it shut off 5 minutes later. Last night, it did the same thing, then it worked for several hours before I turned it off myself!!!!!!!
It's strange!!!!

I'm not even sure that an update would change anything!
Try calling customer service instead and ask them the question before doing something stupid :)
