Residential group icon

Hello,

This morning, the residential group icon appeared on my desktop, and I can't delete or move it.
I would like to know how I can remove this icon.

Configuration: Windows 8 / Chrome 31.0.1650.63

    Easy on Windows 8.1:
    Control Panel ==> Personalization ==> Change desktop icons.
    In the window that appears "Desktop Icon Settings", uncheck the "Network" box if it is checked or check it if it is unchecked, then uncheck it.
    Click "Apply" and "OK"

    Thank you for the response. Unfortunately, I can't say if it works; one fine morning the icon disappeared just as it appeared, without me knowing why.

      Hello,
      Just download "Advanced System Care Free" for free and run a maintenance scan with it; the resident group icon disappears during the cleaning. I just did it.
