Can someone explain to me the difference between the Bose 3.2.1 GS Series II home cinema and the same in Series III, as well as the latest Cinemate Series II GS? I notice that there is no Blu-ray playback on the latter and the first one is sold with a DVD player.
Is the Cinemate Series II more powerful in terms of listening? Thank you in advance.

The 3.2.1 GS series II does not have an HDMI output.
Bose used to make very good equipment, but for about ten years now it's become terrible, and their customer service is even worse.
These systems are outdated (they don't play FLAC or SACD, and there's no depth in hi-fi) and expensive.
If you want to treat yourself and have sound that is close to Bose, you have the Harman Kardon systems that are much more effective:
